As much as we love what we do, even we like to get away every now and then.
We recently took the kids to Har-ber Village in Grove for the day. It’s basically a museum for old farm/homestead stuff. Think Little House on the Prairie and they probably have it: tractors, trains, furniture, old dishes, medical tools, seamstress tools, everything.
It’s a really neat way to step back into history and really see what things were like back then. We had a lot of fun, and it was a great day to be there (weather-wise) the only problem was that we went during what was supposed to be the Pelican Festival in Grove, but apparently no one told the pelicans. They hadn’t arrived yet, that’s my luck.
