If I had been the one to just arrive from a 9 hour drive, I highly doubt that I could put on my happy face for family photos. But these guys, man, they were troopers and we had a great time.I love to have a “get to know you” engagement shoot with all of my brides and grooms.
Since Daniel and Tammie were from out of town we weren’t really able to do the engagement session several months before the wedding. But we still wanted to do the shoot, so we squeezed it in the day before their wedding after that 9 hour drive. And it wasn’t just an engagement shoot, it was a family affair.There was a quiet little park and walking trail just a couple blocks from their hotel in Rogers. I knew after their day the last thing they’d want to do is drive around to a gazillion different locations, so we went down to the trail and rocked it out there.
